Donna napper

designer & project manager

Donna’s career in the field of contemporary art combines approximately twenty years as a gallery owner, exhibition curator, and art consultant in both Northern and Southern California. Donna’s flair for providing high quality artwork for clients began when she founded and directed her own art gallery in Los Angeles for eight years. She continued to develop a keen eye for talented artists after curating more than 80 art exhibitions for her own gallery program as well as for other galleries and organizations.
Meeting exciting new artists seems to be in her DNA and she passionately supports artists in their efforts to develop their career. She has been invited by various art organizations to review artist portfolios, curate group exhibitions, and serve as a juror for artist awards and residency programs. In her spare time, Donna currently serves on the Advisory Council and Curatorial Committee for Root Division, an arts non-profit in San Francisco that provides studios for artists at below market rate and also provides free art classes for kids in the community. She also is the Co-Chairperson for the Northern California chapter of ArtTable, a national organization for women holding leadership positions in the visual arts.

As an art consultant, Donna’s notable project experience includes three years of procuring art for corporate clients in industries such as health care, real estate development, legal, banking, and technology.
