Within the community, we’re proud of our role in mentoring emerging artists as they learn the business of art. In addition, we partner with local non-profits and charitable organizations by repurposing and installing artwork donated by ACS, our clients and our artists.
About the Owner
Owner Kira Stewart combined 21 years of consumer and commercial business experience with 15 years in the fine art world to establish Art Consulting Services. After earning a Bachelors degree in Studio Art from the University of California at Davis, Kira went on to have a successful career in business, eventually returning as a working artist to the fine art community in 1994. Once back in the art world as a painter, she immersed herself in every aspect of the business of art, learning gallery management, charity art auctions, fine art publishing, and artist direct sales and marketing. Kira was also a founding member of a cooperative fine art gallery, and for two years she enjoyed the opportunity to appear as an on-air art expert for KVIE Channel 6's annual televised fine art auction. As an art consultant with both a business and an artist’s background, Kira brings a fresh and unique perspective to her clients’ projects.
About the Design Team
Art Consulting Services has a dedicated team of designers who participate with Kira in every aspect of your project, from designing to artist recruiting, through to installation day management. Our core team, Renn Mentink, Erin Richardson and Andrea Uppiano have training and degrees in interior design, furniture design, graphic design and business, and stay immersed in the latest trends in fine art and interior design. In addition, their talents have found them collaborating on commissions for clients as well as developing themes and concepts for job sites. Their working knowledge of our proprietary database of artists, publishers, galleries and fabricators makes them an asset to the company and to our clients.
