"My grandmother decided to go through all her jewelry during the pandemic and gifted me a huge box of her vintage jewelry. I was trying to find a way to incorporate the sentimental pieces into a gift for my mom, sister, and other family members. I came up with an idea to mount the pieces to form art on felt and frame it. I found it to be therapeutic by allowing myself to site down and take the time to just focus on this creative outlet. I then started searching for antique and vintage jewelry and decided I could make gifts for friends neighbors, co-workers as a way to let them know I was thinking of them. I found that making the "gifts" for others was as much a gift for myself."
