"There is hope and beauty all around us. Challenge yourself daily to look beyond what persons discard, seeing potential and how you can contribute to enhancing its purpose. Art has been an extremely helpful outlet during these challenging times. Most of my work is done using reclaimed items such as wood, tiles, random household items, and cards that have been discarded. With the pandemic many persons did house cleaning so there were many treasures to sift through. It brings great joy and gives a task of which I can control and create from within my own environment brining new purpose and beauty to what some may consider scraps."
