"Although I'm able to use various art media such as watercolor and acrylics, my favorite is definitely via digital art. It allows the mind to wander when bored, and allows the mind to focus when trying to distract from something. The handy "control+Z" to erase mistakes is a lifesaver. Real life and traditional art don't have the luxury of an easy fix with a click of a button, but it would be nice though. During difficult times, especially during those long shifts during COVID taking care of very ill patients, art is a great way to de-stress and let go of the sad, negative feelings that may have cropped up during those hours. It's my preferred way of avoiding burnout and allowing me to express a little happiness during these stressful times. If my art can help others be happy, that's great too!"
