"I have been sewing pillowcases for all children having surgery at children's surgery center for about 10 years. The current total of pillowcases done is over 19k. It has always been a calming outlet for me, from purchasing a ton of fabric to cutting and sewing the fabric, to seeing the pillowcases on the gurneys for the children. I love hearing the stories of how the pillowcases make the child's stay less stressful."
