Design Task

For this orthopedic rehabilitation center, ACS was tasked with creating a spa-like environment while speaking to the medical specialty. ACS commissioned a Northern California artist to create a hand-painted piece on acrylic depicting physical activity and health. In the waiting area ACS continued the standard of tiled photography that was developed for NorthBay’s master plan. Photography of people partaking in physical activities was featured throughout the corridors and exam rooms. Acrylic pairings were dispersed periodically among the framed photography pieces to provide variety and interest.
