Design Task

The leadership at Dignity Health wanted to refresh the atrium at the main entrance to the hospital. This 15’x27’ commissioned mural provides a unique experience when walking in the main entrance. The goal of the final design was to depict Yolo County’s local environment and the riparian plant species that flourish along Cache Creek. With hand-painted native plants and vibrant colors, Flourishing Gratitude by artist team Studio Tutto seeks to capture the nourishing power of nature. The staff and patients enjoy the uplifting scenery as they travel into the hospital.
