Design Task

For this Sutter Roseville Urgent Care and Internal Medicine office, ACS curated a collection inspired by the nearby nature trails. With vibrant hues of natural greens and blues to give the space a lighter and brighter feeling and create a connection to the surrounding landscape of lush foliage and serene waters and offering comfort to those seeking care.

One waiting area features a fine art giclée of an original textile landscape by local artist, Merle Axelrad, capturing the essence of the community. In the larger waiting area, the project architect provided architectural insets enhanced with a rich accent color to highlight a series of wood pieces. This created an impactful focal point for the abstracted mountains that offer a nod to the surrounding topography. With natural finishes and imagery inspired by the environment, this dynamic collaboration between the architect, interior designer, Sutter and ACS truly created an oasis of tranquility for patients and visitors.
